My elder sis Monica is probably the best gifts from my parents and God, I have the best sister in the world and I am truly grateful.
I guess the age difference of about 8 years, does play a part. I look up to her for advice in so many-many things, and so does she(well most of the times!!!)
sometimes I think I may be so rude, dominating, and irritating but hey, that’s the beauty of sisterhood!

One of my childhood memory was probably when I was about 9 years old. I remember I was propped up on a bed and reading one of those fairytale-books. You know, those with a lot of difficult words. I got my eldest sis,Monica, to read beside me and I remember pestering her whenever I got through a difficult word, “what does this mean?” Hehe, I must have been a pain, but I remember she tried her best to explain,
And so today i would like to thank her for all she has ever done for me from my very first day on this earth till now.

Just a little something from my heart for you,my loving sis!

A sister is someone who loves you from the heart,
No matter how much you argue you cannot be drawn apart.
She is a joy that cannot be taken away,
Once she enters your life, she is there to stay.

A friend who helps you through difficult times,
Her comforting words are worth much more than dimes.
A partner who fills your life with laughs and smile,
These memories last for miles and miles.

When she is by your side, the world is filled with life,
When she is not around, your days are full of strife.
A sister is a blessing, who fills your heart with love,
She flies with you in life with the beauty of a dove.

A companion to whom you can express your feelings,
She doesn’t let you get bored at family dealings.
Whether you are having your ups or downs,
She always helps you with a smile and never frowns.

With a sister you cannot have a grudge,
She is as sweet as chocolate and as smooth as fudge.
Having a sister is not just a trend,
It is knowing you can always turn to her, your best friend.
